Destroying
microorganisms or controlling their growth is of
considerable importance given that many microbes cause
disease. Also, when preparing cultures for study, it is
important that contamination be kept at a minimum. Soaps
and antiseptics are among household items that can be
used in fight harmful bacteria. The question is
"Which soap or antiseptic is more effective?" |

In this project you will identify antiseptics and test them on
real bacteria. You will need culture media, petri-dishes, and
some other laboratory supplies for your experiments. |
