| Introduction:
Diffusion is one of
the methods by which water and some other liquids and
gases can pass through the membrane of animal cells and
plant cells. Random spontaneous movement of molecules
caused by thermal agitation is known to be the cause of
diffusion. In process of diffusion, molecules move from
a region of higher to one of lower concentration. By
diffusion water can move from one cell to the other cell
and gradually travel across the plant or animal organ.
What factors affect
diffusion through cell membrane?
