Introduction:
About one
fifth of air is oxygen. What would happen to the rate of
burning if we had more or less oxygen in the air?
A candle, gas stove,
automobile and many other systems that burn some kind of
fuel, also consume oxygen from the air.
If we had more oxygen
in the air, Would the candles burn faster or brighter?
Would cars drive faster? or Would food cook faster on a
gas stove?
