Electromagnetism
|
| |
|
| |
Introduction:
So many devices
and equipment around us are using electromagnetism as
their driving force. Electric bells, buzzers,
telephones, speakers, radios, and electric motors used
in fans, hair dryers, vacuum cleaners and any other
device that you can imagine are all using
electromagnets.
This project is an
opportunity to learn more about electromagnets and find
out what factors affect the strength of an
electromagnet.

Material
and instructions:
If you select electromagnetism as your project, you
will have a large variety of choices for your experiment and
display. For example you can make a simple electromagnet, make
an electric catapult, take pictures of a magnetic field or make
any other device that uses an electromagnet.
Your display can include a drawing of your experiment and a
working model that works and everyone can test. Materials needed
for this project can be found at home or purchased locally.
Most Electromagnet kits also
have the necessary materials and step by step instructions on
how to make any of the above subjects. Depending on how complete
your kit is, you may need to purchase or gather some additional
items to complete your project. You may click
here to purchase the material in a kit from
