Steam
Propulsion
|
| |
|
| |
Introduction:
For a period of time, steam has been the most widely
used driving force for ships, trains, cars, factories
and even electric generators. Different methods and
equipment have been used to convert the steam pressure
to mechanical movements.
In this project you will experiment a simple method of
using steam power to propel a boat or car. |

Material
and instructions:
Research and display
different methods of using steam power to move a vessel. Make
models and possibly a working model of a steam driven car, boat
or train. |

Support and more information on this project is available for
the members of ScienceProject.com. A steam
boat similar to the one pictured above is available at
MiniScience.com that can be used as display or as startup model. |
