| Introduction:
While learning about
plant growth and photosynthesis, we learned that green
plants use the energy from the sunlight, water from the
ground and carbon dioxide gas from the air to make sugar
and starch. Starch is the reservoir of food for plants.
Starch may be
collected in different plant parts including the fruit,
roots and seeds.
